SUS (sectoral system for monitoring cooperation and financial coordination within the rehabilitation sector), is a system for following up the results of cooperation and financial coordination within the rehabilitation sector.

The system aims to facilitate local, regional and national monitoring of cooperation as well as provide the opportunity to manage and guide within the context of cooperation.

Försäkringskassan is the agency that is system owner for the SUS system, but the system is a multi-agency tool. This means that the authorities involved (the Public Employment Service, municipalities, county councils and Försäkringskassan) are jointly responsible for ensuring that information on, inter alia, initiatives, activities and projects financed with funds from social security is registered in the system.

The forms of cooperation that are reported in the system are:

  • Cooperation between Försäkringskassan and the Public Employment Service
  • Financial coordination (FINSAM)
  • Two-party coordination between Försäkringskassan and the health and medical care services
